12th expo of the #Security, #Defense and Military Industries Exhibition was held in Baghdad-Baghdad International Fair Iraq Defense Exhibition “IQDEX” where foreign, local companies and public sector departments participated in the exhibition.

This exhibition is an affirmation of the role of the Iraqi government in supporting and encouraging development in the #military industries sector. This support consisted of launching initiatives to motivate local and foreign companies to invest in this vital sector. As a result for these initiatives, partnership opportunities between Iraqi companies and international companies from the public and private sectors have increased.

Etihad Shayma Azeez Hatem had an effective presence, and issues related to contracts with participating companies were discussed, opening communication channels, and moving Iraq to an advanced level through support from government institutions to revive these industries, which leads to improving this sector, increasing job opportunities and enhancing the competitiveness of national industries in the international market.
