On September 6, the General Assembly meeting of Hayat International Hospital HIH LLC was held in #Mosul; Ahmed Al Hankawi the managing partner of Etihad Law Firm, attended as a legal advisor to the hospital and manages its legal affairs in Nineveh and Baghdad.
The main topic of the meeting was to explain to all shareholders the journey of Hayat Hospital starting from its establishment including financial, administrative and legal aspects to present them a comprehensive idea of the hospital’s achievements and the challenges it faced.
AlHankawi presented the current legal status of the company starting from the establishment and obtaining the necessary approvals from the Ministry of #Health, the #Investment Authority, the Companies Registration, #RealEstate Registration Department and other entities and the faced challenges.
On other hand, it was discussed as well the effects of the strategic development from a legal perspective, its impact on the hospital and the ownership of the land in favor of the hospital company were also discussed, then the stages of converting the company from limited liability company to a Joint-Stock company were discussed and the subscription mechanism and transfer of shares to new shareholders were explained also.
